Monthly day of mindfulness

Lismore 3rd Saturday of each month
Commencing at 9:00am

This monthly meditation day has been designed for both beginning and experienced meditators. Each day will involve periods of both sitting and walking meditation with instruction and guidance from the teacher, a dharma talk in the middle of the day, and ending with a group discussion.

The whole day is spent in the silent practice of sitting and walking meditation (through lunch and morning tea).

This schedule is subject to change without notice and as such bookings are recommended.

A meditation and community work day. This day will combine 2 hours of meditation practice in the morning followed by taking the silence of one's practice into the activities of everyday life.

The Way of Clarity Insight - Vipassana Retreat - Patrick Kearney - Gunundi, Ballina
This 10 day retreat will emphasise the Buddha’s way of clarity. The retreat is designed to allow you to deepen your experience of Buddhist Insight Vipassana meditation. Insight is the mind’s deep seeing into the nature of experience. We will cultivate this insight through sitting and walking meditation, and the ordinary activities of daily life. Morning of Mindfulness with Jitindriya – Kuan Yin Meditation Centre
Jitindriya was a Buddhist nun for 17 years in the Theravadin Forest tradition of Ajahn Chah & Ajahn Sumedho. During that time she lived and taught mostly in England, Australia & the U.S.A. She disrobed in 2004 & consequently gained an MA in Buddhist Psychotherapy Practice with the Karuna Institute in the U.K. She now sees private clients in Lismore and Bangalow.
